Broker Assistant

Local candidates are preferred as no relocation assistance will be provided. We provide a full range of wholesale property/casualty brokerage and binding products to retail agents. New Business Support: Prepare proposals and quotes for new business submissions. Interact with broker, carriers and retail agents.
Renewal Support: Market renewal policies and assist broker in retaining book of business. Provide phone support and email support. Help maintain relationships with carriers and retail agents.
Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications: Ideal applicant will have a High School diploma, a college degree (preferably in Risk Management or Business) and a minimum of 2 years experience (or college internship) in the insurance field. Proficient oral and written communication skills required. Requires keyboard proficiency and strong knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel. No telecommuting or working out of remote location.
